Astronomer CEO resigns after kiss-cam cheating at a Coldplay concert. "Standards of conduct were not met."

The CEO of Astronomer, the man responsible for the alleged affair captured on kiss cam at the Coldplay concert, has resigned . Andy Byron , who came under fire after being caught on camera hugging his HR manager, Kristin Cabot , during the July 16 event at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, has decided to leave the company.
And Astronomer's board of directors has accepted the resignation, as announced in a LinkedIn post by the company itself, which will now begin the search for its next CEO.
Following the release of Byron's video, alleged statements from the former CEO admitting the incident circulated online. However, Astronomer stated in a previous LinkedIn post that Byron "did not make any statements" and that "reports to the contrary are all incorrect."
"As we've previously stated, Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding," the company said Saturday, as reported by CNN . "Our leaders are expected to set standards for both conduct and accountability, and recently that standard has not been met."
